What happened to the Edro III?
The Edro III was a cargo ship that ran aground near the Sea Caves of Peyia in 2011 after bad weather.
The crew were safely rescued, but the ship remained on the rocks. Over time, it became a well-known landmark and one of the most photographed spots in the area.
Today, seeing a shipwreck so close to the coastline makes the place quite different from the usual beaches and tourist attractions around Paphos.

The Edro III is located near the Sea Caves of Peyia, on the western coast of Paphos.
